Do you have anything to say about this track (Ginger Ale)?

Its a brassy, sassy, bombastic little number that might have you thinking you're on the set of 'Definition'.
(see '1970s Canadian Game show)

I tried to convey a few of the many elements I love about rhythm and blues, soul and jazz music, particularly from the 60s / early 70s era into Ginger Ale.

Its a biopic, lust-letter to my wife.

How does it relate to your self-titled album?

Although the self-titled LP is eclectic, it has flow & cohesion designed for a front-to-back album listen

'Ginger Ale' was to be included in said album, but I found it to be too much the oddball in the context of 'the record'.

I believe it stands on its own as a single and had planned on releasing it as such in the heart of summer.
